This precious little gal’s name is Avarie.  You may recognize her from her newborn photos.  You don’t?  Ok, well let’s refresh your memory then…

Since we are a little (OK, A LOT!) behind on blogging this slideshow is from when Avarie was 6 months old.  And this coming Saturday we will get to document her at her one year mark!  It is such a great job we have to be able to see little ones grow up before our eyes!  At her six month session it was all spring time flowers and pretty frilly outfits and she was a big girl pulling up on the chair and hanging out there all by herself!  And JUST LOOK at the photos of her in her basketball outfit!  PRECIOUS!  We could just squeeze those little legs of hers in those tube socks.  Her Mom Kari had quite a hard time finding such tiny little tube socks, but they were sure worth the hard work!

Happy Birthday Avarie!  You are sure growing up to be a precious little lady!

Yup, We are still catching up on writing blogs!

We meet the Welch family in the Spring of 2012 and if we had only known then what we know now.  Dee and I  really cherish this family. We’re talking about when we see an e mail from them or get a phone call from them our hearts just glow! Jeremy and Bliss, Annabella’s momma and daddy have a special kind of love. The love that marriage vows were built around. Annabelle is such a lucky little girl to have them as parents and we know they feel blessed to have her as their baby girl. She is their little princess!

Miss Annabelle has a smile that is contagious and it will make you smile from ear to ear. She is the most calm, grown up 1 year old we have both ever met in our whole entire lives! Its like shes a grown up and knows everything that’s going on and hears everything we are saying and just shakes her head at the circus going on around her. We love this sweet girl!

Jeremy and Bliss threw her 1 year birthday party at their house. It was decked out in pink and princess everything. We took some group family shots outside in their amazing backyard. I still cant believe how green their grass was! You would have thought I(Skye) had never seen green grass before. Ha. Then we went inside where all the fun festivities began. Present opening, cake eating, playing with toys, and baths in the sink! Fun times. We always love a good 1 year birthday party. Happy Birthday Annabelle.

We have known Noah since he was a wee little baby, I believe it was when he was 3 months old and came to our Spring Mini sessions back in 2011. We can’t believe he is already 2! Oh how the time flies when you have little ones! Noah’s mom, Melissa had contacted us back around the holidays asking if  we could shoot his 2nd birthday party and we said “you betcha!”. We would never miss out on a birthday party, Especially Noah’s! He has so many fun expressions and is ALL BOY! So, Happy 2nd Birthday Noah! We hope we will get to photograph all your milestones!

Only in fairy tales did we think a little girls birthday party could be like this! Jessica and Tay, Ellas mom and dad went all out for their first and oldest baby girls birthday. She is still and probably always will be a baby in their eyes but she turned the big 5!!!

From the time you pulled into the drive way until the time you left it was Princess and fairy tale themed everywhere! The food was amazing and Jessica made ALL of the sweets! The gorgeous cake!  We personally think she should be a party/event planner for little kids birthdays. You will think so too after you see these photos.

At princess Ellas party there were fairy god mothers doing hair and make up to help transform these beautiful little girls into real life princesses! There were Cinderella’s, Snow whites, and many many more! After hair and make up it was time to chow down on some Beef O’Bradys food, have some fun time in the backyard and do a little dancing. Now that is how some princesses get down!

There was a small shower but that didn’t stop anyone from groovin on that dance floor. As the rain cleared out it was cake cutting time, Everyone sang the happy birthday tune to Ella and it really was a day fit for a princess!

We have known Anna & Graysen for a few years now.  When Anna, Graysens wife asked us about shooting Greysons surprise 30th birthday party we were super excited! Photographing a grown ups birthday, YES PLEASE! Now don’t get us wrong…. we LOVE shooting little kids parties, but grown ups just seem to cooperate a little more for photos.

It was hard to keep it a secret since we always like to let our clients know what we are up to. But we did keep this fun little secret quiet. The day arrived and when we pulled up to the house all was quiet and normal. We were greeted by Annas parents Jane and Jeff. They made us feel right at home! Heck, We almost felt like we were guests and not working. But then again our work never feels like work because we enjoy it so much!   Anna & Jane decorated everything so cute! Props to them! Good job ladies!

Guests started arriving and before we knew it we were all being rushed out the back door with fingers to our mouths to keep quiet. A few minutes went by and then SURPRISE!!!!!! Out walked Graysen and Anna. Let the festivities begin, And they did!  It was food galore, along with the adult beverages and yummy desserts. After everyone chowed down it was time for some girl gossip, while most of the men played corn hole. What a fun party! So glad we were able to help capture these fun memories for this wonderful family. Happy Birthday Grayson!

Our sweet client Ashlee Gordon (who will be Mrs. Ashlee Berry, look for her wedding in May 2012!) asked us to come take photos of her soon-to-be-nephew Walker’s first birthday celebration.

It was a beautiful day, not too hot and just the right breeze for little Walker’s party.  Once we got over how beautiful the house is…I mean it is BEAUTIFUL…we got to notice just how much time and energy it must have taken to set up such a great party.

When the guests started arriving, it because very obvious that this little guy is super duper loved.  He just went from arm to arm, and I would be afraid to know how many kisses he got that day.  He was so sweet, when it came time to eat his smash cake, he decided to share some with his grandfather…unbelievable right?  Believe it, we have proof!

We have known the Dickson family for 1 solid year now.  The first time i photographed them was when Priscila was pregnant with baby Ben. It was one of my favorite photo sessions i have been to yet. Priscila and Bob were so sweet and little Lucas was and is still such a little gentlemen and good big brother.

Once baby Ben was born I was asked to do his new born photos. He was only about a week old and was a chunky little man already weighing in at 9 pounds with a head full of dark brown hair! I atually think he might have had more hair on his head then I did on mine at the time!

Through this past year we have not only done the maternity session and the new born session, But also the Dickson families 3rd birthday for Lucas, Fall, Christmas and Easter sessions.

I am so excited to now announce i got to photograph baby Bens 1st Birthday!  We almost feel like  he is a part of our family here at Bloom. Which in a way he is. Doesn’t his birthday party look like so much fun!? So glad we got to catpure these memories for the Dickson family! We can’t wait for so many more.

Hey ya’ll!  This blog post may give you a cavity since this lil guy is so sweet (not to mention adorable).  How did we get so lucky to be able to photograph this wee one’s birthday festivities?  Well…we have known the Cochran family for a long time.  Jessica (Mama Cochran) went to school with Dani…like way back…middle school and all the way through high school.  Jessica and Tay (Daddy Cochran) own Beef O’Bradys in Ooltewah, and Dani worked there for a bit when she moved back to Tennessee.  Together this beautiful couple have 2 kiddos (Ella and Troy) and one on the way (who is currently called ‘Baby Cinderella’).  They did it up right for Troys second birthday, complete with a trackless train, a plethora of outside toys, tons of yummy food (courtesy of Beef O Brady’s), plus lots of decadent sweets.
