Meet baby Heath. He’s such a pretty baby! So flawless, So soft. Now we know where the expression “Soft as a baby’s bottom” comes from. Baby’s like Heath! We showed up at their house on a Friday morning for Heaths session and boy was he content being at home. He didn’t make a peep, Just let us turn him and pose him at whatever way we needed.

Then he got a little hungry so we decided to take a small break before doing his photos with mom and dad. We took some of his room. It was so peaceful in there. Just like a baby’s room should be! We also let Brooke and Richard, Heaths momma and daddy lay and roll around on the bed with him for some cute family shots. We are so happy for the Henderson family and their newest member of the family. Congradulations Brooke and Richard!

Is he seriously not the most adorable baby you’ve seen!?

Yeah, We thought so too! From his head FULL of hair to his little itty bitty toes! When looking in the dictionary at the word perfection baby Coopers photo would be beside it staring at back you.

 Cooper was actually about 3 weeks old when these photos were taken. Why you may ask? Well you see, The Dr’s thought Cooper had twisted intestines so he had to go stay in the NICU for about a week. But he showed everyone what he was made of and come to find out everything was going to be ok! Kate & Johnny, Coopers momma and daddy needed a week to clam down and take it all in at home with him and just have Cooper all to themselves before getting back in the swing of things. Which do you blame them? We would have stayed at home for weeks with baby Cooper if he was ours! But then again he is too cute to keep at home so showing him off and getting newborn photos was a must!

We are so glad Kate & Johnny chose us to capture Cooper and his perfect newbornnesss. Congrats Carr family on your newest member of your family!

Hey, it’s Dani here. I am so excited to show you a preview of my friend Melissa’s  maternity session.  Melissa and I have been friends a long time, we met when we were both in school and working at Macaroni Grill serving tables.  It was like 10 years ago (we are getting old!).  Since then lots of things have happened.  We both got through school, quit serving tables, went through break ups together, new boyfriends, new jobs, had more than a few girls night/wine nights over the years.  Melissa met Joe (who I approved of totally!) and got hitched, moved away to Atlanta, got 2 precious dogs, and now they are expecting their first baby.  When she said she wanted me to do some maternity photos, I was thrilled.  Then she said she was bringing her fur babies Blaze and Roscoe, who I had never met, I was super excited!   Those two pups are going to be great big brothers!

Here is a little sneak peek of what we captured of this lovely little family.  Congratulations guys, you all are going to be phenomenal parents…and I can’t wait to meet baby Asher!

We know this sweet family through Dani’s Mom, and we are so thankful we got to document this moment in their lives.  Kari and Mika are the most genuine couple and they are very deserving of their beautiful little girl.

Kari had us over to her adorable house for some one on one time with little Avarie.  She is such an alert little girl, she was awake for the whole session!  Mika works as a fireman for Bradley County and was working that day so we headed on down to the station to snap a few of the family together and of sweet little Avarie with her Daddy.

It’s that time of year again, folks!  The weather is warming up, the birds are chirping, and the sun is staying out later…it’s spring time!  So, it’s time for us to be doing some spring mini sessions!

Fortunately,  we had a tremendous turnout for our pre-sale (which was offered to our previous mini session clients first) so we had to open up another weekend!

As with all our mini sessions, this one will be styled as well!  We plan on having baby ducks and a few little areas that we will stage in some super cute spring decor.  We are thinking an old red wagon, a cool vintage chair, a picnic area, and wildflowers.

Our spring mini’s will be held at the Enterprise South Nature Park.  We are planning to have everything setup at picnic area 3.  There is a little bridge there and lots of lovely trees.

We are so excited about this years spring sessions!

You will recognize this adorable little family from an earlier post on little Troy’s 2nd birthday.  If you remember, Mom (Jessica) was the cutest super pregnant lady that day. Well…seven days ago little Miss Violet joined the world.  She is a beautiful baby, she is absolutely perfect in every way.  Ella and Troy are so excited about Violet, that they sometimes argue over who’s turn it is to hold her.  It’s so darn cute!

We were so excited to take her newborn photos this morning!  Here is a little sample of what we got.  :)  Congratulations Tay and Jessica on your adorable little addition.

First of all we want to say Congratulations to Kalyn and Ryan on their engagement and THANK YOU SO MUCH for involving us in your celebration.  It was so much fun.

Meet Kalyn & Ryan…they got engaged and had quite the shindig.  Thankfully the Bloom gals were there to document this amazing celebration.  When we spoke with Kalyn to confirm everything we were told to meet them at the penthouse (a.k.a party room) on the roof of a swanky North Shore apartment complex.  We were to bring photobooth props & lighting, and to be prepared for fun (200 bottles of wine type fun).  Um…yes, please and thank you!  The minute we pulled up we knew we were in for a blast of a night… and once we navigated our way through the complex (which turns out was quite a chore with all the stuff we had)  and made it to the room we were amazed.  It was beautiful, the decorations, the view, everything….

Kalyn decorated it all herself which is amazing.  She really could and should be an event planner…well…with her sparkling personality, she could do just about anything.  She is quite the hostess, immediately making us feel like we belong there.  She was dressed to the 9′s in a snazzy blue dress and matching heels.  And her soon-to-be-hubby Ryan?  He’s perfect for her and he just may be the sweetest guy ever.  Sweet as in if you were to hug him a big teddy bear hug will only do kind of sweet (I didn’t hug him, but I imagine this to be true).  It is my belief that together, they could totally have their own (successful) reality show.  The show would be about being a young, engaged, fun, loving couple…happily living in the Northshore penthouse with the best view of Chattanooga.  Ahh…Can’t you just see it?

Ok…wait…back to the party…

Once we got in and settled the celebration began…and it looked a little something like this….CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!  We can’t wait for the wedding!

We have known the Dickson family for 1 solid year now.  The first time i photographed them was when Priscila was pregnant with baby Ben. It was one of my favorite photo sessions i have been to yet. Priscila and Bob were so sweet and little Lucas was and is still such a little gentlemen and good big brother.

Once baby Ben was born I was asked to do his new born photos. He was only about a week old and was a chunky little man already weighing in at 9 pounds with a head full of dark brown hair! I atually think he might have had more hair on his head then I did on mine at the time!

Through this past year we have not only done the maternity session and the new born session, But also the Dickson families 3rd birthday for Lucas, Fall, Christmas and Easter sessions.

I am so excited to now announce i got to photograph baby Bens 1st Birthday!  We almost feel like  he is a part of our family here at Bloom. Which in a way he is. Doesn’t his birthday party look like so much fun!? So glad we got to catpure these memories for the Dickson family! We can’t wait for so many more.

Meet Jennifer, Brian, Chloe, Daisy and their sweet  baby bump  Brooklyn. We haven’t done a maternity session in a few months so when I say we were looking forward to this session I REALLY mean it!  Besides getting married we here at Bloom think that finding out your expecting a new family member is one of the most exciting days of your life!

Jennifer and Brian are going to be such amazing parents, I can already tell just by the way they talk about her and the things they have gotten her, along with the small details of how they decorated Brooklyns room.  Brian and Jennifer are such good people. It just warms our hearts here at bloom to know a little girl is going to be born into such a loving welcoming home.

Chloe and Daisy which are Jennifer and Brians first 2 “furry children” are pretty excited to have a new baby sister as well. So of course they had to get into some of the photos too!
