Hey, it’s Dani here. I am so excited to show you a preview of my friend Melissa’s  maternity session.  Melissa and I have been friends a long time, we met when we were both in school and working at Macaroni Grill serving tables.  It was like 10 years ago (we are getting old!).  Since then lots of things have happened.  We both got through school, quit serving tables, went through break ups together, new boyfriends, new jobs, had more than a few girls night/wine nights over the years.  Melissa met Joe (who I approved of totally!) and got hitched, moved away to Atlanta, got 2 precious dogs, and now they are expecting their first baby.  When she said she wanted me to do some maternity photos, I was thrilled.  Then she said she was bringing her fur babies Blaze and Roscoe, who I had never met, I was super excited!   Those two pups are going to be great big brothers!

Here is a little sneak peek of what we captured of this lovely little family.  Congratulations guys, you all are going to be phenomenal parents…and I can’t wait to meet baby Asher!

We know this sweet family through Dani’s Mom, and we are so thankful we got to document this moment in their lives.  Kari and Mika are the most genuine couple and they are very deserving of their beautiful little girl.

Kari had us over to her adorable house for some one on one time with little Avarie.  She is such an alert little girl, she was awake for the whole session!  Mika works as a fireman for Bradley County and was working that day so we headed on down to the station to snap a few of the family together and of sweet little Avarie with her Daddy.

It’s that time of year again, folks!  The weather is warming up, the birds are chirping, and the sun is staying out later…it’s spring time!  So, it’s time for us to be doing some spring mini sessions!

Fortunately,  we had a tremendous turnout for our pre-sale (which was offered to our previous mini session clients first) so we had to open up another weekend!

As with all our mini sessions, this one will be styled as well!  We plan on having baby ducks and a few little areas that we will stage in some super cute spring decor.  We are thinking an old red wagon, a cool vintage chair, a picnic area, and wildflowers.

Our spring mini’s will be held at the Enterprise South Nature Park.  We are planning to have everything setup at picnic area 3.  There is a little bridge there and lots of lovely trees.

We are so excited about this years spring sessions!

Ok, now…we know in the past we have said that we won’t publish bombshell sessions…but…we just couldn’t help it with these!  (of course we have the clients permission!)  

Luckily this beautiful lady found us on facebook and booked her bombshell session for her husbands Valentines gift this year.  When she got to the studio, she seemed quiet and reserved (especially since we had never officially met her).  But once we got her in some hair and makeup, cranked up the tunes, and started posing her…she was a NATURAL!  We even asked her several times “Now, are you SURE you haven’t done this before…like for a living??”  Needless to say, we have heard from her that her husband was FLOORED by her album and she was so happy with her experience that she has already told us she wants to do it again!  We say, bring it on Miss A!  You are STUNNING!

The Bloom girls were so excited about our booth this year at the Chattanooga Pink Bridal show!  We made sure to take a few shots of our booth being set up (which went so smoothly thanks to Momma Lyndi Blair).  And thanks to Skye’s crafty boyfriend Kevin we had walls made, which was something we were wanting so badly for this year.  Here is the journey it took to set everything up:

Our neighboring booth B Sweet Cake Boutique offered up some super stylish cakes…we love those chairs too!

Our friends from Sunrise Farms had a BEAUTIFUL booth!  We are so lucky to be able to work with such great people.

And last but not least, the fabulous Veo Wedding and Event Planning.  Veronica graciously provided to flowers for our booth (which EVERYONE commented on!).  Thank you for helping us with our booth design and flowers!  We love you guys!

That about wraps up our coverage of the Chattanooga Pink Bridal show!  Thank you to all the brides that we got to meet!  We are really super pumped about this upcoming wedding season.  :)

Our bags were packed, and we were ready to go!  We have been so excited about the wedding of Bailey and Traverse, it was hard to believe the time had come.  These two are some of the sweetest people on earth and we are so happy that they found each other.  We are also beyond thrilled that they chose us to document their most special day.

We came to Brentwood Tennessee a day early to scope out the venue and get a feel for the wedding day.  When we pulled up to the gated entrance our jaws dropped.  The Governors Club is beyond pristine and immaculate, and the homes on the property were so big, we were convinced we would see Puff Daddy driving his golf cart around.  The grounds of the Pleasant Hill Manor only made us more excited.  We looked at each other and said, ‘This is perfect.’  The rehearsal went off without a hitch and everything seemed calm.  After some yummy italian food (Amerigo’s is a must eat when in Nashville/Brentwood) we headed to the hotel to rest up for the big day.  

Early the next day we went to meet Bailey at the hotel where she was getting all ‘brided’ up.  All the bridesmaids were getting ready in one suite and Bailey was in another suite all to herself.  She said she just wants to be as calm as possible, which proves she is a smart girl…she knew the rest of the day would be crazy.  

Once she got all done up she met us at Pleasant Hill and it was time to get in her dress and to see her soon to be husband for their first look.  Traverse was so cute and acted a little nervous, somewhat fidgety when she was walking up behind him.  Once they saw each other it’s almost like he was speechless, frozen in his tracks, and utterly amazed by how beautiful she looked.  It was truly adorable.

Every wedding is different, but all in all this was the most calm and organized wedding we had ever been a part of.  The weather that day was amazing, they couldn’t have asked for anything better.  The ceremony was so sweet and the reception was a full on party.

Just wanted to show you all this birth announcement we just put together for sweet baby Malyn.  If she doesn’t give you baby fever, we don’t know what will.  

Meet Brandy and Chris, Brandy found out about us through a family friend. Brandy and Chris will be tying the knot In November. We are so super excited that we not only got to photography there engagement photos but will also be photographing their wedding day!

Brandy and Chris were a littler nervous  the morning of their session and it was of course 40 degrees the morning it was scheduled! Poor Brandy about froze to death and Chris wasn’t to excited about the whole photo taking all together. But we managed to pull some smiles out of him and once the sun came out Brandy really warmed up to us!  You Can’t even tell it was cold outside!  Have fun looking at this sweet couples session.

You may have met this wonderful couple a few months ago on our old website. So you will probably see that they look familiar.  We shot their engagement photos back  in June of this year and we have to say that it was one of our favorite engagement session of this year so far!

Kimmi and Jacob are such a fun loving energetic couple! When we found out they also wanted to book us for their wedding day we were beyond excited AND when Kimmi told us it was going to be at the Fillauer Lake House in Cleveland, TN it was like music to our ears. La La La! The big day seemed to be stress free and went by like a flash!  It was most fun watching Kimmi step into her dress when the time arrived! There were tons of laughs and maybe a small teary eye here and there. She really did look like a princess from a fairy tale book.

After the vows were said it was first dance and cake cuting time which always gets the party started. We are so happy for Kimmi and Jacob. Congradulations to the both of them in their new journey together as husband and wife!
